Where To Book

Please keep in mind that I run a small business all by myself and do not have a receptionist, but I will respond to you as soon as possible. I have my hours listed on here, my online booking page, and my Facebook page for reference.

Late Arrival

One late client can throw an entire day off schedule. If I do not hear from you within 15-minutes of your scheduled appointment time, you will be considered late. You have a 15 minute grace period from time of your appointment before the late fee is ADDED to your bill. After 30 minutes, your appointment will be CANCELED

Should you arrive late (and within the 15-minute window), you will lose 50% of the booked service. A late cancellation is as follows:

LATE CANCELLATION -APPOINTMENT CANCELLED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.

To avoid the fee, you need to cancel before that 24hr clock starts.

Out of respect and consideration to me and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Cancellation Policy

Your hair treatments are reserved especially for you. I value your business and ask that you respect the service suites scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance. Repeated, frequent or excessive cancellations/rescheduling will result in denial of services and online booking will be unavailable. Mo’Nika J Salon, LLC reserves the right to refuse services.

Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancelation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service. Your card on file will be charged or an invoice will be billed to you and will need to be paid before the end of day or all future appointments will be canceled. Last minute cancellations & clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will also be charged in full for the scheduled service. My time is valuable and I have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with me, I not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time.

NOTE: IN THE EVENT THAT YOUR CARD IS DECLINED FOR ANY FEES, YOU WILL BE BLOCKED FROM FUTURE BOOKINGS WITH ME

Failure To Show

If you do not call, text or arrive within 15-minutes of your scheduled appointment time you are considered a ‘No Show’ and will be charged 100% of the service scheduled. When you do not arrive for your scheduled and confirmed appointment, I not only lose your business for that time, I also lose the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled and your appointment time goes unfilled. Again, your treatment time is reserved especially for you.

The best way to avoid No Show fees and possible uncomfortable situation for us both, is to Cancel/Reschedule outside the 24-hour cancellation window.

Salon Room/Guests

I am a Certified Hair Loss Practitioner. I take what I do very seriously and it is important that I am able to concentrate on my client receiving treatment in order to create a plan of action to meet their hair care needs and goals. Due to the sensitive nature of any and every hair loss situation, privacy and discretion is extremely important. It is to be respected and for this reason, no one other than the person receiving treatment is permitted in the service suite. Those not adhering to this Policy will be asked to reschedule. If you have special needs, please contact me 24-hours in advance of your scheduled appointment so that I may make any necessary adjustments to ensure your comfort.

Child Safety Policy

My concerns are for the safety of your children. I understand how challenging it is finding time to spend for yourself. My policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the service suite. In the event you must bring a young child into the spa, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker. Young children in carriers/strollers may not be placed near the service areas or held in the lap as I’m working with very sharp instruments around your face. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing hair experience, it was created with your child’s safety in mind. Our salon room is not child-proof. Sharp instruments, hot tools, and expensive machines make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. I am dedicated to providing each of my guests with the highest level of services possible and greatly appreciate your compliance with our child safety policy.
